Last saturday I assisted to a wedding at León (at the San Marcos hotel, really pretty), where among the guests was Covadonga. A terrific lady: tall, thin, and with a fantastic profile for painting. Furthermore she had a very modern haircut, which was at the same time very classic. White hair, very short, and with some colored leaves on her head that framed perfectly her face. A drawing was compulsory...
So I asked her to pose briefly, and not only that offer didn't offend her, but she accepted to be taken away from the ball with all my cheek, and posed where I expected the colour lights of the ball room not to make too odd shadows.
So, for the moment, a quick Conté portrait; let's see if I manage to make a small oil, as Covadonga's kindness and her awesome haircut, deserve it.
