Aquí podemos ver ya la acuarela pasada al ordenador y repintada prácticamente entera. ¿Cuál es la ventaja de repetir el proceso dos veces? La parte "tradicional" (la acuarela) añade un aire "orgánico" a la imagen tratada, que no puede conseguirse con Photoshop ni Painter. No sé cómo describirlo, pero se sabe de alguna forma que detrás hay métodos tradicionales. Es más trabajo, pero el resultado vale la pena y para los que, como yo, no nos gusta hacer el boceto directamente en la Wacom, es una forma interesante de trabajar la revelada por Justin Gerard.

Por cierto, que acabo de recibir sus libretas de apuntes y son fantásticos. Un maestro el bueno de Justin Gerard.

Here we can observe the watercolour once scanned to the computer and repainted almost completely. Which is the advantage of repeating the process twice? The traditional part (the watercolor) adds an organic feeling to the treated image, that cannot be obtained with Photoshop nor Painter. I don't know how to describe it, but somehow you know there is traditional fine art behind. It's more work, but the results are worth it, specially for those like me, who don't like to sketch directly with the Wacom, so it is an interesting way of painting the way revealed by Justin Gerard.
