Así que aquí van las últimas páginas que he pintado. Como véis, tan pronto mezclo paisajes con soldados, como estudios de planos de cabezas con astronautas...para éso son los cuadernos de apuntes.
When Arturo Hernández (fine art teacher, great painter, and probably one of the painters that knows more about the different uses of any medium and material - a real modern alchemist, and as he says a "groupie" of my blog), invited me to spend a morning with him watching the Museo del Faro Mayor de Santander, I commented that I have always liked much more the sketchbooks from famous painters than their finished pieces. And I noticed I have been a long time without showing mi current sketchbooks in which I try to make something every day, usually in gouache. They are made of dark paper (brown or gray) and I made them in A4 and A5 to have something to paint on always. So here are their last pages I painted. As you can see, I can freely mix landscapes with soldiers, with head planes studies and astronauts...that's what sketchbooks are for.
